Introducing the RICA iSoftloader System!

Improve performance with the touch of a button!
It’s really that easy – with the RICA iSoftloader System.

How It Works:

The RICA iSoftloader System allows you to switch between standard ECU software and RICA performance software with the touch of a button. You can also revert back to the standard software program in minutes, whenever you wish. RICA performance software is easily downloaded over the Internet.

Step 1: Read ECU	Step 2: Modify Software	Step 3: Program ECU

The first step is to tune your car is to read the original software from the ECU via the OBD2 diagnostics port. In many cases, RICA may already have an exact matching original version of software for your VIN, in which case reading the original software is not required. Once the original software is read from the ECU, it is uploaded to RICA for modification.	Once RICA receives the original software, it is modified by a qualified software engineer. A software file can take 15 - 45 minutes to prepare. Once complete, the modified software is made available for download to program the car.	The modified software is downloaded from RICA and programmed into the ECU, overwriting the original software in the ECU. After the programming is complete, the car should be test driven to ensure that it is performing correctly and that no DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) are present.

Custom Tuning Options:

The RICA iSoftloader System is the only hand-held tuning system thats allows you to tune with custom written software for your car! We can tailor your software tune to take advantage of other performance hardware upgrades to achieve maximum performance for your car (such as a performance downpipe or exhaust, front mount intercooler, larger turbocharger, race fuel tune, etc.). Other software tune features include removal or torque limiters in 1st/2nd gears of automatic gearbox equipped cars, removal of speed/rev limiters, and high octane/race fuel specific tunes. Some "Staged" upgrades available for your S60R/V70R include:

Stage 1: For use with a performance cat-back exhaust and air filter element upgrade
Stage 2*: Software upgrade optimized for cars equipped with a 3" Performance Downpipe and hi-flow catalytic converter, performance cat-back exhaust system, and air filter element upgrade
Stage 3*: Software upgrade optimized for cars equipped with a 3" Performance Downpipe and hi-flow catalytic converter, performance cat-back exhaust system, air filter element upgrade, performance front mount intercooler, Ignite REV coil pack upgrade, progressive water injection/methanol injection system and K24 turbocharger upgrade

Note: For models equipped with the 5- or 6-speed Geartronic (GT) transmissions, we have the ability to remove the torque limiters in the first and second gears*. Please specifically request these settings if you would like them with your upgrade.

Additionally, we have the ability to enhance the individual throttle maps linked to each 4C setting*. For example, we can make Sport 4C mode have a similar throttle map as the "Advanced" 4C mode, or a more aggressive "super" throttle map in Advanced 4C mode. Please specifically request these settings if you would like them with your upgrade.
