Produced with a mono-tube gas pressure design, Bilstein shock absorbers instantaneously self-adjust to changing road surfaces. A high pressure nitrogen gas and floating piston design ensure that performance does not gradually decline from age, use or heat. Several lines of Bilstein shock absorbers and struts are available for your Volvo: Sport Performance (SP), Heavy Duty (HD), and Touring Class (TC).

Heavy Duty (HD):

For most vehicles including full-size sedans, SUVs and trucks. These shocks provide improved handling and stability without sacrificing ride comfort. They offer super damping ability that makes them ideal for heavy hauling for occasional off-road use, while maintaining an exceptional "street" ride. Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks and struts are less stiff than their Sport Performance (SP) counterparts
