Product Description

Rear chassis braces are used to strengthen the rear chassis, eliminating strange suspension noises while providing more stability during acceleration and extreme cornering. The vehicle's chassis flex is minimized by connecting the rear shock towers for extra torsional strength.

Meant to be 100% compatible with factory suspension components, our rear chassis braces are ideal for road race applications, or for spirited drivers with modified street vehicles.

Features:

  • Light weight design to enhance torsional strength
  • Eliminates body flex for improved handling and drive characteristics
  • Mounts directly to strut towers. NO modifications required (please note: some chassis braces may mount to the car with the adhesive decal oriented upside-down)
  • Manufactured using steel, MIG welded joints for high strength
  • Powder coated finish for lasting protection

Vehicle Fitment

  • 2001 - 2010 S60 FWD, AWD
  • 2001 - 2007 V70 FWD, AWD
  • 2004 - 2007 S60R/V70R AWD

  1. Will fit 2004 S60R with no modifications

Car feels much more planted in rear during hard cornering . Easy install, holes for mine were off, or backwards first time I held bar up for installation . Flipped bar end over and all holed lined up fine, no drilling needed.

Bolted right in no problems and made the rear of the car more stable.

  3. Perfect fit, incredible results

Just installed this on my S60R. It was very simple to install. No drilling necessary, it lines up perfectly with the holes already there. Really tightened up the feeling and made the rear feel like it wants to swing out a bit more. Overall, an excellent addition.

  4. Does not fit 2004 S60R without modifications

The brace I received wouldn't fit between the Rear Strut towers with bolt holes lined up. I had to rotate the bar 90 degrees and drill new holes in the Strut Towers to get it mounted.
