Description
Enhance the handling and appearance of your Volkswagen Golf V 3/5-Door 1K with a set of AST Lowering Springs. AST ASTLS-14-2432 is designed to fit the Volkswagen Golf V 1.4TSI/2.0FSI/1.6TDI/1.9TDI/2.0SDI with sportsuspension 3/5-Door 1K 2003-2008.
AST designs each spring set around the specific chassis it fits, so your Volkswagen Golf V 3/5-Door 1K sits lower and handles with less body roll while keeping a ride quality close to the factory setup. The progressive rate absorbs everyday bumps and stiffens as the suspension compresses, giving a more planted feel through corners and under braking. AST springs are cold-coiled from premium spring steel on Wafios coiling machines in the Netherlands for consistent, accurate spring rates, and every set is backed by a lifetime warranty against breakage.
AST Lowering Spring Features:
- Lowering: 25mm front (1.0") | 25mm rear (1.0")
- Approx. 15% higher spring rate than OEM, for a lower stance with a comfortable ride
- Developed and tested to work with OEM dampers
- Progressive design for comfort and control
- Lowers center of gravity, reducing body roll and brake dive
- Vehicle-specific direct replacement for factory springs
- Cold-coiled on Wafios machines in the Netherlands
- Lifetime warranty against breakage
