    Description

Upgrade the braking performance of your 2012 Mercedes-Benz C63 Black Series W204 with Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A1-123.

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are necessary. The disc bolts directly to the car and works with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading to lightweight high-performance replacements instead of a big brake kit, your factory bias and ABS efficiency are maintained.

The central hat section is made from strictly U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in-house in the USA. The rotor uses a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

The rotor and hat feature a floating mount system with 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured in the USA to Girodisc’s specifications and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins handle braking loads while maintaining axial and radial float, secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. Anti-noise spring washers allow thermal expansion while eliminating rattle. This float also lets the rotor self-center between the pads.

Once the Girodisc system is installed, simply replace the cast iron rotor as needed.
