Upgrade the braking performance of your Dodge Viper ACR Gen 5 (2016+) w/CCM with Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A2-165.

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are necessary—the rotor bolts directly to the car and works seamlessly with OE calipers and the parking brake.

The central hat section is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is crafted from Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined in-house from start to finish. The rotor features a curved vane design, developed in racing, that acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

The rotor and hat use a floating mount system with 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured in the USA to Girodisc specifications and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins absorb braking loads while maintaining axial and radial float between the hat and disc. They are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. To reduce noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers, which allow for thermal expansion while eliminating rattle and ensuring the rotor self-centers between the pads.

Once installed, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
