Can I reuse the factory wheel bolts with spacers?
Only when the spacer system is designed for the original hardware and provides the required thread engagement. Slip-on spacers typically require a longer bolt by approximately the spacer thickness.
What is the difference between ball and cone seats?
A ball seat has a curved contact surface defined by its radius. A cone seat uses a straight tapered surface, commonly 60 degrees. They are not interchangeable.
How much thread engagement is required?
The correct requirement depends on the vehicle, hub material, and bolt diameter. Follow the vehicle and wheel manufacturer specifications or ask ViVA Performance to verify the application.
Should wheel bolts be installed with an impact gun?
Start every bolt by hand, then tighten in the recommended sequence with a calibrated torque wrench to the vehicle or wheel manufacturer specification.
