Description
The Injen SP1869P SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Chrysler Sebring and related models. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 7 horsepower and 7 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
At the heart of every SP Series intake is Injen's tuned-intake engineering. The 6061-T6 aluminum tube used on the Chrysler Sebring and related models is designed to reduce restriction and turbulence, and Injen validates each design on the dyno so power increases arrive without compromising air/fuel ratios.
Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Chrysler Sebring and related models. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1015-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools. Injen designs and manufactures its intakes in Pomona, California, and backs them with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
