Description

The Injen IS1120BLK IS Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Mini Cooper. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 12.1 horsepower and 9.8 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

The IS Series is Injen's short ram intake line, built for a compact, easy installation and sharper throttle response. The mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube on the Mini Cooper shortens the path to the throttle body and removes the restrictive factory ducting.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Mini Cooper. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1020-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. Expect a noticeably more aggressive intake sound when you get on the throttle. Installation is straightforward on the Mini Cooper, and every system is backed by the Injen Technology Limited Lifetime Warranty.
