Description

The Injen RD1975P RD Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Nissan Altima. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 7 horsepower and 7 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen's RD Series cold air intakes relocate the filter away from engine heat. The mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tubing designed for the Nissan Altima extends toward the fender area, where intake air is cooler and denser than under the hood.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Nissan Altima. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
