Description

The Injen RD1966BLK RD Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Nissan Sentra. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 7 horsepower and 7 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

The RD Series is Injen's race-derived cold air intake. On the Nissan Sentra, a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube reaches down into the engine bay to collect cooler, denser air, providing a smooth path that supports stronger bolt-on power.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Nissan Sentra clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
