Description

The Injen RD2081BLK RD Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Toyota Corolla. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen's RD Series cold air intakes relocate the filter away from engine heat. The mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tubing designed for the Toyota Corolla extends toward the fender area, where intake air is cooler and denser than under the hood.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Toyota Corolla. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1010-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools.
