The RD Series is Injen's race-derived cold air intake. On the Mazda Mazda 6, a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube reaches down into the engine bay to collect cooler, denser air, providing a smooth path that supports stronger bolt-on power.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Mazda Mazda 6 clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1015-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1034BLK or 1034RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
