Description

The Injen SP1727BLK SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Honda Element. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 6 horsepower and 8 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

The SP Series is Injen's flagship line of tuned aluminum air intakes. Each system is built around 6061-T6 aluminum tubing sized and shaped for the Honda Element, giving intake air a smooth, uninterrupted path to the throttle body while the tuned design holds a safe air/fuel ratio across the rev range. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology and Air Fusion to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Honda Element clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1017-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. Beyond the performance gains, the intake adds a satisfying induction sound and a clean under-hood appearance.
