Description

The Injen SP1974P SP Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Nissan Altima. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 10.1 horsepower and 10.8 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

The SP Series is Injen's flagship line of tuned aluminum air intakes. Each system is built around 6061-T6 aluminum tubing sized and shaped for the Nissan Altima, giving intake air a smooth, uninterrupted path to the throttle body while the tuned design holds a safe air/fuel ratio across the rev range. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology and Air Fusion to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Nissan Altima clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. Expect a noticeably more aggressive intake sound when you get on the throttle. Installation is straightforward on the Nissan Altima, and every system is backed by the Injen Technology Limited Lifetime Warranty.
