Description
The Injen PF8053WB Power-Flow cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Dodge RAM and Ram 1500. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 12 horsepower and 17 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
The Power-Flow series focuses on moving a large volume of air with minimal restriction. On the Dodge RAM and Ram 1500, oversized 6061-T6 aluminum tubing and a purpose-built filter placement work together to lower intake air temperatures and deliver a direct-fit, bolt-on installation. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.
Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Dodge RAM and Ram 1500. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1021-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1037BLK or 1037RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The textured wrinkle black powder-coat finish resists heat and blends into the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools. Injen designs and manufactures its intakes in Pomona, California, and backs them with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
