Injen SP3072P SP Series Polished Short Ram Intake, Audi A3 2.0L Turbo 2009-2013

Description

The Injen SP3072P SP Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Audi A3. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 8 horsepower and 7 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

The SP Series is Injen's flagship line of tuned aluminum air intakes. Each system is built around 6061-T6 aluminum tubing sized and shaped for the Audi A3, giving intake air a smooth, uninterrupted path to the throttle body while the tuned design holds a safe air/fuel ratio across the rev range. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology and Air Fusion to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Audi A3. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. Beyond the performance gains, the intake adds a satisfying induction sound and a clean under-hood appearance. Injen stands behind the quality of its parts with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser.

CARB Legal: This Injen intake is exempt under California Air Resources Board Executive Order D-476-8, covering 2009-2012 model years, and is legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all 50 states within that coverage.
