Description
The Injen EVO5101C Evolution cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 14 horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
The Evolution Series is Injen's roto-molded air induction system. For the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger, the housing and intake tube are made from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene (XLPE), which resists heat and impact, and the enclosed design isolates the filter from hot under-hood air.
The EVO5101C uses an 8-layer oiled cotton gauze filter for high airflow and dependable filtration on the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger. It can be cleaned and re-oiled for a long service life. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1107-BR. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1119BLK) is available for added protection from water and debris.
