Description
The Injen SP1676BLK SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Acura TLX and Honda Accord. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 9 horsepower and 8 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
At the heart of every SP Series intake is Injen's tuned-intake engineering. The 6061-T6 aluminum tube used on the Acura TLX and Honda Accord is designed to reduce restriction and turbulence, and Injen validates each design on the dyno so power increases arrive without compromising air/fuel ratios. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology and Air Fusion to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.
Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Acura TLX and Honda Accord clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. Expect a noticeably more aggressive intake sound when you get on the throttle. Installation is straightforward on the Acura TLX and Honda Accord, and every system is backed by the Injen Technology Limited Lifetime Warranty.
