Description

The Injen SP5040BLK SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Dodge Dart. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 9 horsepower and 9.8 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen developed the SP Series as its premium aluminum intake program, and this kit for the Dodge Dart follows that formula: precision-bent 6061-T6 tubing, a vehicle-specific routing, and a tuned layout engineered to keep the air/fuel ratio in a safe window from idle to redline. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK) is available for added protection from water and debris.
