Description
Give your Volkswagen GLI and related models more usable power with the Injen SP3077BLK SP Series short ram intake. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 8 horsepower and 10 lb-ft of torque. Designed as a bolt-on replacement for the factory intake, it delivers better airflow and throttle response with no additional tuning required.
Injen developed the SP Series as its premium aluminum intake program, and this kit for the Volkswagen GLI and related models follows that formula: precision-bent 6061-T6 tubing, a vehicle-specific routing, and a tuned layout engineered to keep the air/fuel ratio in a safe window from idle to redline. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.
A fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry filter protects the engine in your Volkswagen GLI and related models. The synthetic media offers excellent filtration efficiency and can be cleaned and reused, with no filter oil to manage. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1078-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1120BLK) is available for added protection from water and debris.
A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. Beyond the performance gains, the intake adds a satisfying induction sound and a clean under-hood appearance. Injen stands behind the quality of its parts with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser.
