Description
The Injen SP1334BLK SP Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 14 horsepower and 16 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
At the heart of every SP Series intake is Injen's tuned-intake engineering. The 6061-T6 aluminum tube used on the Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima is designed to reduce restriction and turbulence, and Injen validates each design on the dyno so power increases arrive without compromising air/fuel ratios.
A fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry filter protects the engine in your Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima. The synthetic media offers excellent filtration efficiency and can be cleaned and reused, with no filter oil to manage. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1015-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. Beyond the performance gains, the intake adds a satisfying induction sound and a clean under-hood appearance.
