Description
The Injen SP1129P SP Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the BMW 340i and related models. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 14 horsepower and 13 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
The SP Series is Injen's flagship line of tuned aluminum air intakes. Each system is built around 6061-T6 aluminum tubing sized and shaped for the BMW 340i and related models, giving intake air a smooth, uninterrupted path to the throttle body while the tuned design holds a safe air/fuel ratio across the rev range. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.
Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the BMW 340i and related models. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1059-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1040BLK) is available for added protection from water and debris.
