Description

The Injen SP1323P SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Kia Forte Koupe. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 11 horsepower and 8 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen developed the SP Series as its premium aluminum intake program, and this kit for the Kia Forte Koupe follows that formula: precision-bent 6061-T6 tubing, a vehicle-specific routing, and a tuned layout engineered to keep the air/fuel ratio in a safe window from idle to redline.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Kia Forte Koupe. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1017-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools.
