Description
The Injen SP3081WB SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Audi S4 and Audi S5. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 18 horsepower and 14 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
The SP Series is Injen's flagship line of tuned aluminum air intakes. Each system is built around 6061-T6 aluminum tubing sized and shaped for the Audi S4 and Audi S5, giving intake air a smooth, uninterrupted path to the throttle body while the tuned design holds a safe air/fuel ratio across the rev range. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.
Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Audi S4 and Audi S5 clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1021-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1037BLK or 1037RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The textured wrinkle black powder-coat finish resists heat and blends into the engine bay. Beyond the performance gains, the intake adds a satisfying induction sound and a clean under-hood appearance.
