Description

The Injen SP1362P SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Hyundai Elantra. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 8 horsepower and 7 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen developed the SP Series as its premium aluminum intake program, and this kit for the Hyundai Elantra follows that formula: precision-bent 6061-T6 tubing, a vehicle-specific routing, and a tuned layout engineered to keep the air/fuel ratio in a safe window from idle to redline. The system can also be configured as a short ram intake.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Hyundai Elantra clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1017-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools.
