Description

The Injen RD1500BLK RD Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Honda Civic. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen's RD Series cold air intakes relocate the filter away from engine heat. The mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tubing designed for the Honda Civic extends toward the fender area, where intake air is cooler and denser than under the hood.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Honda Civic clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1012-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
