Description
The Injen RD1600P RD Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Honda Accord. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
The RD Series is Injen's race-derived cold air intake. On the Honda Accord, a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube reaches down into the engine bay to collect cooler, denser air, providing a smooth path that supports stronger bolt-on power.
Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Honda Accord. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1012-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. Expect a noticeably more aggressive intake sound when you get on the throttle. Installation is straightforward on the Honda Accord, and every system is backed by the Injen Technology Limited Lifetime Warranty.
