Description

The Injen IS1550P IS Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Honda Civic. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Designed as a straightforward performance upgrade, the IS Series intake for the Honda Civic uses a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube and a short ram layout that improves airflow and throttle response while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Honda Civic clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools.
