Description

The Injen RD1220BLK RD Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Subaru Impreza. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen's RD Series cold air intakes relocate the filter away from engine heat. The mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tubing designed for the Subaru Impreza extends toward the fender area, where intake air is cooler and denser than under the hood.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Subaru Impreza. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1013-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
