Description

The Injen RD1110BLK RD Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the BMW 323i and related models. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 9.6 horsepower and 9.6 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen's RD Series cold air intakes relocate the filter away from engine heat. The mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tubing designed for the BMW 323i and related models extends toward the fender area, where intake air is cooler and denser than under the hood.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the BMW 323i and related models. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1017-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools.
