Supertech Beehive Valve Springs use a tapered coil design that progressively reduces in diameter from the base to the top. This shape reduces the reciprocating mass of the spring and retainer system, lowering the natural resonance frequency and dramatically reducing valve float at high RPM. Beehive springs allow for smaller, lighter retainers and deliver excellent power through the top of the rev range in both naturally aspirated and forced induction applications.
