Description
The Injen IS1471P IS Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Acura RSX. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
Designed as a straightforward performance upgrade, the IS Series intake for the Acura RSX uses a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube and a short ram layout that improves airflow and throttle response while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios.
Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Acura RSX. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1017-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. Expect a noticeably more aggressive intake sound when you get on the throttle. Installation is straightforward on the Acura RSX, and every system is backed by the Injen Technology Limited Lifetime Warranty.
