Injen SP1477BLK SP Series Black Cold Air Intake, Acura RSX Type S 2.0L 2002-2006

Description

Give your Acura RSX Type S more usable power with the Injen SP1477BLK SP Series cold air intake. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 15 horsepower and 11 lb-ft of torque. Designed as a bolt-on replacement for the factory intake, it delivers better airflow and throttle response with no additional tuning required.

At the heart of every SP Series intake is Injen's tuned-intake engineering. The 6061-T6 aluminum tube used on the Acura RSX Type S is designed to reduce restriction and turbulence, and Injen validates each design on the dyno so power increases arrive without compromising air/fuel ratios.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Acura RSX Type S. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. Expect a noticeably more aggressive intake sound when you get on the throttle. Installation is straightforward on the Acura RSX Type S, and every system is backed by the Injen Technology Limited Lifetime Warranty.

CARB Legal: This Injen intake is exempt under California Air Resources Board Executive Order D-476-5, covering 2002-2006 model years, and is legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all 50 states within that coverage.
