Description

The Injen SP1477P SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Acura RSX Type S. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 15 horsepower and 11 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

The SP Series is Injen's flagship line of tuned aluminum air intakes. Each system is built around 6061-T6 aluminum tubing sized and shaped for the Acura RSX Type S, giving intake air a smooth, uninterrupted path to the throttle body while the tuned design holds a safe air/fuel ratio across the rev range.

A fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry filter protects the engine in your Acura RSX Type S. The synthetic media offers excellent filtration efficiency and can be cleaned and reused, with no filter oil to manage. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools.
