Description
The Injen SP1997P SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Infiniti G35 and Infiniti G37. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 14.6 horsepower and 10.7 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
The SP Series is Injen's flagship line of tuned aluminum air intakes. Each system is built around 6061-T6 aluminum tubing sized and shaped for the Infiniti G35 and Infiniti G37, giving intake air a smooth, uninterrupted path to the throttle body while the tuned design holds a safe air/fuel ratio across the rev range. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology and Air Fusion to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.
Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Infiniti G35 and Infiniti G37. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1010-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. Expect a noticeably more aggressive intake sound when you get on the throttle. Installation is straightforward on the Infiniti G35 and Infiniti G37, and every system is backed by the Injen Technology Limited Lifetime Warranty.
CARB Legal: This Injen intake is exempt under California Air Resources Board Executive Order D-476-8, covering 2007-2008 model years, and is legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all 50 states within that coverage.
