Description
The Injen SP1998P SP Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Infiniti G35 and Infiniti G37. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 12.7 horsepower and 12.5 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
Injen developed the SP Series as its premium aluminum intake program, and this kit for the Infiniti G35 and Infiniti G37 follows that formula: precision-bent 6061-T6 tubing, a vehicle-specific routing, and a tuned layout engineered to keep the air/fuel ratio in a safe window from idle to redline. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology and Air Fusion to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.
A fully serviceable SuperNano-Web dry filter protects the engine in your Infiniti G35 and Infiniti G37. The synthetic media offers excellent filtration efficiency and can be cleaned and reused, with no filter oil to manage. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1045-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1052BLK) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools. Injen designs and manufactures its intakes in Pomona, California, and backs them with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
