Description
The Injen SP2115P SP Series cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Scion tC. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 12 horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
The SP Series is Injen's flagship line of tuned aluminum air intakes. Each system is built around 6061-T6 aluminum tubing sized and shaped for the Scion tC, giving intake air a smooth, uninterrupted path to the throttle body while the tuned design holds a safe air/fuel ratio across the rev range. The system can also be configured as a short ram intake. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.
Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Scion tC clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1017-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1035BLK or 1035RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. Beyond the performance gains, the intake adds a satisfying induction sound and a clean under-hood appearance. Injen stands behind the quality of its parts with a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser.
