Description
The Injen EVO2202C Evolution cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Toyota 4Runner and Toyota FJ. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 13 horsepower and 15 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
Engineered for the Toyota 4Runner and Toyota FJ, the Evolution system replaces the factory airbox with a durable roto-molded XLPE housing and a dyno-tuned intake tube. The enclosed box keeps heat out while providing room for one of the largest filters in its class.
The EVO2202C uses an 8-layer oiled cotton gauze filter for high airflow and dependable filtration on the Toyota 4Runner and Toyota FJ. It can be cleaned and re-oiled for a long service life. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1107-BR. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1119BLK) is available for added protection from water and debris.
The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools. Injen designs and manufactures its intakes in Pomona, California, and backs them with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
