Description
The Injen EVO2202 Evolution cold air intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Toyota 4Runner and Toyota FJ. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 13 horsepower and 15 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
Injen's Evolution intakes use a fully enclosed, roto-molded XLPE polyethylene air box and intake tube designed in 3D for the Toyota 4Runner and Toyota FJ. The result is an OE-quality fit, a sealed filter environment, and a large-volume design that feeds the engine cool, dense air.
Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Toyota 4Runner and Toyota FJ clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1107-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1119BLK) is available for added protection from water and debris.
