Description

The Injen PF9012WB Power-Flow short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Ford F-150. Injen dyno testing shows gains of up to 16 horsepower and 25 lb-ft of torque. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

Injen's Power-Flow line is engineered for trucks, SUVs and larger displacement engines that need volume. This system for the Ford F-150 pairs large-diameter 6061-T6 aluminum tubing with a filter location chosen to draw cooler, denser air than the factory airbox. This kit incorporates Injen's patented MegaRam (MR) Technology to help maintain safe air/fuel ratios while maximizing gains.

Filtration is handled by Injen's SuperNano-Web dry air filter, a synthetic, fully serviceable element that captures fine particles while providing a large surface area for airflow. No oiling is required, which keeps sensors on the Ford F-150 clean. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1051-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1057BLK) is available for added protection from water and debris.

The textured wrinkle black powder-coat finish resists heat and blends into the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools. Injen designs and manufactures its intakes in Pomona, California, and backs them with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
