Description
The Injen IS1700BLK IS Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Honda Prelude. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.
Designed as a straightforward performance upgrade, the IS Series intake for the Honda Prelude uses a mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube and a short ram layout that improves airflow and throttle response while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios.
Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Honda Prelude. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.
A durable black powder-coated finish gives the engine bay a clean, understated look. Beyond the performance gains, the intake adds a satisfying induction sound and a clean under-hood appearance.
