Description

The Injen IS1700P IS Series short ram intake is a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Honda Prelude. It replaces the restrictive factory intake with a less restrictive design that improves throttle response and works with the stock engine calibration.

The IS Series is Injen's short ram intake line, built for a compact, easy installation and sharper throttle response. The mandrel-bent 6061-T6 aluminum tube on the Honda Prelude shortens the path to the throttle body and removes the restrictive factory ducting.

Every kit includes an Injen SuperNano-Web dry filter. The synthetic nano-fiber media traps fine dust without oil and flows a large volume of air, making it well suited to daily driving in the Honda Prelude. When service is due, order Injen replacement filter part number X-1014-BB. An optional Injen Hydroshield pre-filter (1033BLK or 1033RED) is available for added protection from water and debris.

The polished aluminum finish adds a bright, show-quality look to the engine bay. The system provides a deeper, more aggressive intake tone under full throttle and installs with basic hand tools. Injen designs and manufactures its intakes in Pomona, California, and backs them with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

CARB Legal: This Injen intake is exempt under California Air Resources Board Executive Order D-476, covering 1992-1996 model years, and is legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all 50 states within that coverage.
