Description
Built for the rear axle of the Volvo S60R and V70R, this 30mm steel caliper piston fits the trailing bores of the factory 4-piston rear calipers. It matches the original piston diameter, so it installs directly during a standard caliper rebuild.
Rear calipers see less heat than the fronts but often sit longer between services, and aging seals and boots eventually let corrosion reach the piston. A pitted or seized rear piston causes the caliper to hang up, wearing pads unevenly and upsetting brake balance front to rear. Replacing the pistons when you reseal the rear calipers restores even, predictable braking on your S60R or V70R and costs far less than new calipers.
