Description
This 42mm replacement brake caliper piston fits the leading bores of the factory 4-piston front calipers on the Volvo S60R and V70R. It is made from steel to the original piston diameter, so it drops straight in when you rebuild a worn or sticking front caliper.
As caliper seals and dust boots age, dirt and moisture work past the piston, leading to pitting on the piston face, a caliper that drags or sticks, uneven pad wear and a softer pedal. Fitting fresh pistons during a seal rebuild restores smooth, even clamping force at a fraction of the cost of a replacement caliper, making it a smart service item for any S60R or V70R still on its original brakes.
