Celebrating Valentine's Day With Your "Significant Other"

Posted by Max Rundlett on 13th Feb 2021

In just 24 hours, many people will be celebrating the holiday of romance and love with their significant other. But what about everyone else? Is this a day where you sulk because you are “alone” on Valentine’s Day? I don’t think so. If you have a Volvo, or really any type of motorized vehicle that you love, I’ve got the solution for you.

Valentine’s Day: Volvo Edition

“How is this supposed to work,” you might ask. Well, in reality, just like any other date night. Except your date is your car!

1. Go Out To Eat

Yes, it’s cliché. But most Valentine’s dates are a bit cheesy, so just roll with it. Fortunately what I had in mind is quite literally rolling. Go out to eat, not food, but the open road. And maybe a few unsuspecting Subaru’s and BMW’s. A boost in self confidence is a good way to start off the date.

2. Follow It Up With Drinks

Drinks are a great way to get a little more comfortable, or a great way to replenish after some vigorous exercise. Whichever one you’re leaning towards, this step is a must-have in any Valentine’s Day playbook. My date prefers 93 octane. And remember, don't drink and drive!

3. Take A Bath

This is an intimate activity that’s easy on the wallet and will for sure to leave both parties smiling. There’s nothing better than feeling clean before settling in for the night.

4. Tuck Her In

A way to cap off the night and truly make anyone feel special is to make sure they are comfortable before drifting off. Turn the heat to 68 degrees (or warmer if you prefer) and shut off the lights. Make sure the door is closed and call it a night.

And that’s it. In reality, this Valentine’s date is cheap and effective so you can’t lose. Celebrate in style this year. If you have any questions or comments about this blog, please feel free to reach out to us via email or on Facebook!
