The BORLA® R&D Team has developed an impressive exhaust system for the Hyundai Sonata. This 2.25" diameter Cat-Back™ is specifically tuned for the 1.6L engine. The S-Type sound level delivers a sportier tone than stock, yet remains refined and free from drone for a comfortable driving experience.
The system includes a flow plate to prevent check engine lights that may result from the increased airflow of the BORLA® design. The muffler features BORLA®’s Polyphonic Exhaust Harmonizer technology, which uses patented units with pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that blend into a clean, rich, full-bodied sound.
It comes with dual 3.5" round black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. Use of BORLA® Stainless Steel Polish 21461 is not recommended with these black chrome tips; we suggest cleaning with hot water and a microfiber cloth. A version with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips is also available.
