Taking on the amazing, five-cylinder Audi RS3, we set out a number of targets: One, maximize output capability—this system is designed to handle up to 1000 HP. Two, remove all airflow bottlenecks by using large diameter piping and air filter. Three, provide a fully open design for optimum airflow, giving a 5–10% advantage over enclosed systems depending on application—perfect for drag racing enthusiasts.
Crafted from high-quality vacuum-infused prepreg carbon fiber (twill 2x2mm) and paired with a massive 6" BMC air filter, this intake ensures the engine always has sufficient air supply. The pipe starts at 6" at the filter and tapers down to the turbo, never narrower than 4.5" in its tightest section.
The robust yet lightweight carbon pipe is finished with a glossy, UV- and heat-resistant clear coat to prevent yellowing, matching performance with appearance.
The system offers multiple layout options and is compatible with the 4.5" turbo inlet hose (three different adapters available) as well as the OEM cast inlet pipe. The do88 inlet hose eliminates pre-turbo bottlenecks, avoiding surge even at high outputs.
Flow bench tests on the SuperFlow SF1020 show a 19% airflow increase with the intake pipe alone. Combined with the 4.5" do88 inlet hose, airflow improves up to 76%.
The kit comes in four versions, depending on turbo application:
- The intake system alone, connecting to the OEM cast inlet pipe.
- With the do88 Turbo inlet hose and a CNC adapter (56.3 mm) for OE turbo.
- With the do88 Turbo inlet hose and a CNC adapter (62.8 mm) for TTE 600, 625 V2, and 700 turbos.
- With the do88 Turbo inlet hose and a CNC adapter (65.7 mm) for TTE 777 and 855 turbos.
