    Alongside our intercooler kit, we also offer various other products for the Porsche 992. In this BigPack, you get not only the intercoolers themselves, but also our intercooler pipes and silicone hoses for improved airflow and long-term durability.

    If you ask us, this is as good as you can make an intercooler kit for this platform. No compromises were made during development. The starting point is cores from renowned Garrett Motorsport, featuring thin, stacked fins optimized specifically for cooling and airflow. The cast aluminum end tanks are designed to minimize weight while maintaining excellent airflow.

    To accommodate the thicker core, the OE air guides are replaced with carbon ducts made from high-quality materials. To remove bottlenecks throughout the system, the intercooler connections are enlarged and paired with do88 silicone hoses designed with smooth, sweeping bends.

    Key figures (compared to OE):
    - Lower inlet air temperature under identical conditions: 36°C (OE: 48°C), 12°C lower.
    - Improved airflow and reduced backpressure.
    - Airflow at 0.125 bar / 1.81 psi pressure drop: 799 CFM (OE: 740 CFM), 8% higher.

    Background
    Earlier Porsche 911 models used intercoolers mounted in the rear fenders with a shared Y-pipe. The 992 platform integrates the intercooler and Y-pipe into a single unit positioned beneath the rear wing. Ambient air is routed from the rear window into the decklid scoop and through the intercooler core for efficient heat transfer.

    To allow increased core thickness and surface area, new carbon air ducts were developed. These ducts are manufactured from vacuum-infused prepreg carbon and include OE-style fastening grooves and proper rubber sealing to prevent air leakage.

    Cores from Garrett Motorsport
    The Bar & Plate cores measure 105 mm (4") thick. Air distribution is handled by freeform-designed cast end tanks developed through 3D scanning, CFD analysis, and extensive prototyping. Machined 70 mm (2.75") connections allow for high-output applications and are paired with included silicone hoses.

    Aluminum charge pipes
    This BigPack also includes do88 charge pipes, replacing the OE hoses. The pipes are made from mandrel-bent 63 mm (2.5") aluminum and finished in satin black powder coating. Four silicone hoses are included, with turbo outlet hoses rated for continuous temperatures up to 240°C (464°F). Constant-tension hose clamps are used to compensate for thermal expansion.

    Performance testing
    Performance data was collected using an AIM race logger during repeated full-throttle acceleration runs with no cooldown periods. The results show a peak intake air temperature reduction of 12°C compared to OE intercoolers.
