This BigPack includes both do88 performance intercooler and pipe kit.
This kit is for those with high horsepower goals who want to upgrade to the absolute best. Simply upgrading to the performance intercooler provides a major improvement, and when combined with the pressure pipe kit the gains are substantial. The pressure pipes offer significantly better airflow than stock piping, verified by multiple vehicle tests and by do88’s own SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench.

- Peak power gain of +12 hp and peak torque gain of +14 Nm, measured on VW Golf GTI Clubsport Edition 45 (2021) with stock software.

- One methanol injection connection (1/8-27 NPT). The pipe is supplied with a blanking plug.
The BigPack includes a full aluminum performance intercooler and a complete 2.5" pipe kit with silicone hoses. This BigPack replaces everything between the turbo outlet and the throttle body, resulting in a significant improvement in airflow and cooling performance.
The do88 performance intercooler is an all-aluminum construction. With CAD-designed, flow-optimized cast end tanks and an optimized core design, it delivers excellent cooling efficiency combined with very low pressure drop.
The charge pipes are manufactured from 2.5" mandrel-bent seamless aluminum pipes. Custom-made high-quality silicone hoses with four layers of polyester/aramid reinforcement are used, capable of handling very high temperatures and pressures.
Always remember that the OE intercooler was designed for the original power level of the vehicle. Increased power or sustained hard driving can exceed the OE intercooler’s capabilities. After an engine software tune, the do88 BigPack provides a clear performance improvement over the OE intercooler.
A common misconception is that an intercooler installed in this position cannot provide good performance and that a front-mounted intercooler (FMIC) would be much better. In reality, the do88 BigPack outperforms many FMIC installations where limited frontal area and obstruction behind the bumper beam reduce cooling efficiency, often resulting in worse cooling performance than the OE intercooler.
